Veritas Tapered Tenon Cutters

• Rotate workpiece while pressing it into cutter body or rotate tool on workpiece
• Works equally well in soft, green or hard woods
• Use curved blade (for dowel making) with only three smallest sizes for dowel and tenon cutters (05J61.04, 05J61.05 and 05J61.06)
• Size given for each cutter is minimum tenon diameter it will cut - maximum is 1/2" greater, over a total tenon length of 2-1/2"
• Starter kit of 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" sizes will cover most tenoning requirements for typical chairmaking
• Some longer tenons may require cutting major diameter with larger cutter and then finishing with smaller cutter; with all five sizes, can cut any diameter tenon up to 1-1/8" in diameter and as long as 2" in single operation
