Rotate workpiece while pressing it into cutter body or rotate tool on workpiece
Works equally well in soft, green or hard woods
Use curved blade (for dowel making) with only three smallest sizes for dowel and tenon cutters (05J61.04, 05J61.05 and 05J61.06)
Size given for each cutter is minimum tenon diameter it will cut - maximum is 1/2" greater, over a total tenon length of 2-1/2"
Starter kit of 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" sizes will cover most tenoning requirements for typical chairmaking
Some longer tenons may require cutting major diameter with larger cutter and then finishing with smaller cutter; with all five sizes, can cut any diameter tenon up to 1-1/8" in diameter and as long as 2" in single operation
